Quizzitive – A Merriam-Webster Word Game App Reviews

I find I know most answers but I havent used a particular word in awhile so the games refresh my vocabulary. Bonus speed points make scoring well a greater challenge. Fun.

This is a wonderful app. It is great to be quizzed on your knowledge of vocabulary!

Word quiz approached from a variety of directions - fun way to learn.

When Im waiting on an appt or as a car passenger, bus rider etc this app engages my mind but does not distract me so much that I miss my stop. Have fun!

This is a fun game, but once you go through all the levels, which doesnt take very long, your only option is to start over with the same list of words. This gives the game a short shelf life if you have a good vocabulary.

This is a fun, engaging, smart game. It more or less demands your complete attention. So its different than a balloon-popping game I might play while watching tv. Quizzitive is more for passing quiet moments.

Came upon Quizzitive by chance; purchased the ad-free version. Delightful! Challenging! Help is easily accessible and informative. Now I will see how much I can learn. I like the four options for games.

It is challenging and captivating and pretty addictive! I like it better than a lot of the other mindless games out there. At least you learn something and improve your vocabulary skills!

I just started one night looking on my iPad for the Merriam Dictionary and came across this game. I love this Quizzitive game. It has really increased my vocabulary and quick motor skills. Loving it each day

Simple way to test your knowledge. I am surprised at what I remember and at what I dont.

Im enjoying this app - its a great way to pass the time while waiting for something, whether for a bus, an appointment, or for the coffee to brew. I also like it, I confess, because Ive gotten to levels 7 & 8 where Im finally getting introduced to words Ive never run across before. With a score after each quiz it provides lots of feedback to keep the player motivated to continue.

Increases your vocabulary what also being fun to play though it could use another 1000 words when youve mastered all 10 levels.
